The Rules.
Here at Mashup we are striving to be a friendly, fun, as well as a helpful place people can go and not be intimidated by others. To enforce our goal, we have made a list of rules that you are expected to follow to the ends of the earth and back. Why else would they be on the list?[/blockquote]
General Rules.
1. Respect, respect, respect! It doesn't matter if you're on staff or if you're a member. You need to be respectful and polite to everyone. That means you need to use your 'pleases' and 'thank-yous'.[/blockquote]
2. Even though this is not a writing forum you are still expected to use capitalized letters, correct punctuation, and basic sentence formatting. Of course, no one is perfect and the occasional error isn't going to hurt you. Just don't use cH@t$p3ak please.
3. Swearing is alright as long as you use it sparingly. We are all mature enough, aren't we?
4. Fighting, no matter how small or big, will not be tolerated. This goes back to rule number one; respect and treat each other as you would want to be treated.
5. Please do not steal anything from this site, in whole or in part. The staff, as well as the members, have worked hard on their graphics, posts, etc. and it's just not fair to them if you rip steal it. If you would like an image for whatever reason, a nice, polite PM to the image owner will suffice. c:
6. DO NOT SPAM on any place in this site, that includes the cbox.
Image Rules.
1. Signatures should not exceed 475 x 300 pixels and avatars should not be larger than 100 x 100 pixels. Images larger than this will stretch the forum and we don't want that. We want a neat and tidy look.[/blockquote]
2. Images that are larger than 475 x 500 pixels should not be posted, but rather linked to.
3. Porn, sex, nudity, and other mature themes of that nature are not to be displayed in whole or in part on any image in this forum. If a staff member sees any image breaking this rule, it will be deleted and you will be PMed about it.
Our Rating.
Because we allow mild swearing and somewhat mature themes, we have rated ourselves PG-13. That means no one under thirteen, without a parent's permission, should be accessing this site. Thanks for your understanding![/blockquote]
