Ok, I'm working on a little project (site) of mine and the banner is usually the first thing I get up so I can have some inspiration for the rest of the board. So, I tend to be either too harsh on myself or not harsh enough. Anyway, I need some help on what I may be getting wrong or something that's missing.
I think it's mainly the model I'm using that's making me a bit unhappy, I think I could have found way better to pull off this pic. I did a bit of coloring to Doutzen's eyes and the fur, that way the two could look a little more like each other. Which is the point of the two being there.
The pretty much love how the background of Los Angeles turned out, so I'm not looking to make any changes to that. Arial Black was the only font I think would fit without being too childish or over the top.
Basically, I'm rambling because I can't say specifically what's really bothering me. :(
The only thing that bothered me about the picture, is the colour; well not specifically colour. I think if you changed the model and the wolf around e.g. have the wolf on the darker side of LA and then the model on the sunrise side. I don't know why but it strained my eyes. I think it's because the skin of the model is rather bright on top of a dark background. A bit like shining a light into your eyes after you've been stuck in the dark if you know what I mean. Other than that, I love it!
I believe I originally had them that way, and now I don't remember why I switched it around. I guess it was just me being indecisive and second guessing myself, I can see what you're getting at though. xp
It's perfect! It looks a lot better that way around and it makes slightly more sense. I see wolves and that running around at night and returning to human during the day. It 's also a lot easier on the eyes. Keep it like that or I'll eat you xD I'm glad I could help
