I made these a while ago ... not really for any particular character, just 'cause I wanted to. yeah. xD um. the first one is the first version I did, second one my friend suggested that I take an eraser (with a lower opacity, I chose 50%) to the dots on his face and so I did. although I might do it again 'cause it's been bugging me DD8 but. just wondering what you guys think and any ideas? ^^
so...like the thread title says, what do you think?

edit: just realized I have yet to put a border on either picture. xD I'll get around to that eventually! |

The dots are rather distracting and take you away from the main point of the picture. Maybe bigger ones, and less? Not sure though *shrugs*
His face also looks like it is more drawn then real, not sure why. Maybe use an edge detecting tool over it once, just to give him more realistic shadows, well at least around the eyes and forehead. I guess his mouth and chin are fine.
Anyways besides me being a critic like it's very nice and I like it!

^^ thanks! I'll try your suggestions ... >| right after I do the twenty million other things on my 'to-do' list? xD but thank you for taking the time to glance at it and help, I appreciate it. I'll probably try to find another texture to use ... I'm a little hesitant to use the ones from deviant art, I'm nervous about crediting people because I don't want to do it wrong. -.- -coughparanoidcough- |
