Skylark Academy of Happy Endings
"Once upon a time, in a land far, far away..."
That’s how the fairy tales that we know start. Every child has grown up with the stories of princesses swept off their feet by handsome princes in normal fairy tale fashion. We all know how Snow White escaped her stepmother and lived with the seven dwarves, how Rapunzel was trapped at the top of a tower until a prince came calling, how Jasmine fell in love with a (false) prince of her own. But what we don’t know, and what their evil stepmothers and witches and malicious advisers never allowed to escape their castles, is what really happened. None of those princesses really lived happily ever after. No, they were actually shipped off to boarding school in California, where their chances at happiness and finding their prince were reduced to practically zero. Here they have to learn to fend for themselves in society, navigate the drama and social circles of high school, and figure out a way to get out of here. Those stepmothers aren’t making it easy, though. Who knew they could be so cunning? Not for nothing do they call it
