time for introductions,

Now that I'm not busy being commanded around by marching practice or my mom, I can properly introduce myself to you all. c:

The name's Asher, and I've gone by many other names before this one so you might or might not have run into me at some point. I started roleplaying at eleven so that makes it six years now, and I've been making proboards for five. I started off with canines and have now moved into the more sci-fi/horror based genres now. Regular, boring real life sites just don't cut it, I've tried.

I'm not that talkative at first, really I'm not. I'm the kind of person that leaves it to the other individual to make the first move, otherwise you'll probably never get past much more than a hello. I wouldn't be that surprised if I ended up getting diagnosed with social anxiety if my parents really bothered to check. So, make an effort to be friends and I'll love you forever, really truly. Ironically, I actually have a lot to say. PM/YIM/MSN is open, lovelies! <3

Anyway, I stared with Corel Paint Shop Pro and will probably die using that same program. Right now I have PSP XI, and I use it for just about any little thing I decide to do. I'm still a bit of a novice on most things, so don't kill me. Sidebar images, skins, text images, and most character graphics are things that I do. I suck at blending and coloring, like really bad, I'm serious. o.o

I've gotten into skinning a bit more so it would really help boosting my graphic making skills in order to make my skins seem their absolute best.

Umm, I'm seventeen and now a senior, hoping to get into an art institute for graphics design once I graduate. I absolutely love David Bowie, he's a love and infatuation of mine right now. Go Labyrinth, haha! I have this big obsession with the 80s, any music from that time I can probably give you names to. Despite that, most of my music is rock or pop, which I'm not afraid to admit to. However, I don't like Miley Cyrus so don't ask that, lol.

Well looking at the beautiful text image thing on the top of your intro I bet what you can do is amazing and what you think you can't do is probably better than you think. I'm waiting for some wonderful tutorial that someone is going to post up for gimp so I will actually want to download it and not delete it (*cough*Lime*cough*) (:

Skinning is something I've always wanted to be good at but it just hasn't happened yet. Well I am happy with the one skin I made for my site.

I can't wait until I'm a senior, I'm only a sophomore but at least it is better than being a freshman. And my sisters listen to Miley Cyrus, annnnoooyyyyinngggg.

Aw, thanks Lily, I just tend to be hard on myself. I judge more on what I've seen done than what I can do myself, so I have some hurdles to jump. Yeah, I live off tutorials or small hints as to what can be done, otherwise I'd flop. I think I tried using gimp once, confused the heck out of me, I deleted it after a few hours. Haha, that's when I saved up for the one I had before and the one I have now. Paint shop pro is actually incredibly easy to use, I don't like Photoshop (my school has it for class use). xp

Yeah, I sucked majorly on skinning until I realized it's better that you don't just pull colors out of thin air. I usually follow a color scheme or make a skin based around an image, mostly the banner. My current site has a pretty decent one I believe, easy on the eyes since it's not overly dark or blinding.

Lol, my youngest brother is a freshman. Fishies! So yeah, it's gonna be the eldest (the one still in school at least) and the youngest over in that high school now. Unfortunately, he got all the teachers I never had freshman year, so now I can't warn him on what they'll do to him. xD
